Vanderlande installs 14 Blueveyors at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol

Vanderlande has integrated 14 Blueveyor baggage conveyors into one of the arrival lines of the baggage handling system at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol following a two-year pilot program.

The pilot showed that the energy use of the Blueveyor was up to 56% lower compared with conventional conveyors. The conveyor also proved to be robust and durable and ready to be deployed in baggage handling systems.

Blueveyor is a conveyor system that increases the sustainability of airport baggage handling operations by minimizing energy consumption, using natural resources and reducing required maintenance time and cost.
