OMA announces investment of US$257m in Mexican airports

Mexican airport operator Grupo Aeroportuario del Centro Norte (OMA) has announced that it will be investing approximately US$257m in Master Development Plan upgrades across its 13 airports in Mexico.

The figures published in the Official Federation Gazette (DOF) by the Ministry of Communications and Transportation (SCT) detail how the payment will be spent on investments, major maintenance projects and other expenditures across a five-year period.

The biggest expenditures have been allocated to Monterrey, Acapulco and General Roberto Fierro Villalobos international airports, with investments of US$73m, US$34m and US$25m respectively.
