Hyatt opens dual-branded hotel at Shenzhen Airport

Hotel operator Hyatt has opened its new dual-branded hotel complex at Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport in Guangdong, China, which has direct access to the airport’s new Terminal 3 (T3) facility.

Hyatt Place Shenzhen Airport and Hyatt House Shenzhen Airport allows passengers to choose from two distinct types of hotel experiences depending on their individual requirements. The hotel is also connected to the underground metro system, offering convenient access to the city’s industrial, business and shopping districts.

Christopher Koehler, vice president and managing director for China, Hyatt, said, “We are excited to announce our first Hyatt House hotel and the first dual-branded Hyatt Place and Hyatt House hotels in China. The opening of these hotels reinforces our commitment to thoughtful and purposeful growth, and we hope the hotels provide new and existing guests with more options when they are traveling in China.”

Hyatt Place has 167 guestrooms with separate spaces to sleep, work and relax. Business travelers can also make use of a 3,200ft² business center, which comes equipped with the latest audio-visual technology and is supported by the hotel’s Gallery Host team.

Hyatt House offers travelers a more homely experience with 112 suites, ranging from spacious studios to one-bedroom kitchen suites with fully equipped kitchens. Each kitchen suite features a full-sized refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher, as well as a separate living space, bedroom and work area with a flat screen high-definition television. Both hotels boast 24-hour gym access, free wi-fi, and share an indoor heated swimming pool.
