HMSHost assumes operations at Piedmont Triad International

Restaurateur HMSHost has taken over the operation of six food and beverage (F&B) outlets at Piedmont Triad International Airport in North Carolina, USA.

HMSHost will continue to operate the existing brands while renovating and rotating in new restaurants throughout 2016. The changes are the result of HMSHost being awarded a 10-year contract to run the airport’s dining locations.

Steve Johnson, president and CEO, HMSHost, said, “We could not be more proud to partner with Piedmont Triad International Airport and to have begun serving guests there this weekend. Our team is excited and eager to elevate the dining experience for passengers at the airport and we look forward to delivering our unique brand of world-class, award-winning service to Greensboro travelers for years to come.”

With operations now underway, HMSHost will continue to convert existing concepts to an exclusive offering of new brands, eventually replacing every unit with a new restaurant. The pre-security area in the main terminal will soon be home to PGA TOUR Grill and The Great American Bagel. Post-security, the North Concourse will offer The Local @ GSO and the first Starbucks at the airport. The South Concourse will feature ACC American Café and a second Starbucks location.
