Cleaning robot trial completed at Haneda Airport’s International Terminal

Robotics developer Cyberdyne has completed a two-week trial of its state-of-the-art cleaning robots in the International Terminal of Haneda Airport in Tokyo, Japan.

Cyberdyne’s robots have been operating in the airport’s Domestic Terminal since July 2015 following a partnership agreement signed with the airport’s operator Japan Airport Terminal Co. It now looks likely that the automated robots will be introduced to the 24-hour International Terminal on a permanent basis.

Cyberdyne now hopes to expand its robotic services to other regional Japanese airports.
