<p>The new hockey-themed restaurant near Gate E18 in Terminal 2 has been designed to offer travelers and sports fans an immersive dining experience that celebrates the winning tradition of the St Louis Blues. It has also been designed with selfie opportunities in mind, featuring murals and a major collection of memorabilia, including helmets, pucks and sticks used by players during their 2019 championship season.</p>

Driven by airline and passenger demand, the airport is now investing in self-service and automation technology in the terminal to replace manual check-in desks, in a bid to boost efficiency, increase terminal capacity potential and improve customer experience.</p>

<p>More than 30 of the students delighted passengers in Terminal 2 with a Christmas carol flash performance.</p>
<p>The events marked the launch of Heathrow’s 2019 Christmas activity calendar, which runs until December 27 and includes craft trolleys, Santa and elf visits, gift wrapping and carols in the terminals.</p>

<p>It took 175kg of textile waste to make each table and 20kg for each bench. According to Finavia, the project repurposed the equivalent of 4,600 T-shirts. TouchPoint, which specializes in manufacturing ecological work clothes, is behind the new furniture, which has a factory warranty of 50 years.</p>

<p class="p2">Passengers traveling through Helsinki Airport’s non-Schengen area of Terminal 2 may have encountered Tellu rolling toward them. With a 5G badge beaming out of its white body, this 1.5m-tall robot, which is equipped with a 360° camera to monitor its surroundings, has been roaming the terminal since December 2018. Powered by a new dedicated 5G network installed at the airport, Tellu is a joint project between Swedish telecommunications company Telia and Finnish airport operator Finavia.</p>
