The budget includes a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) fee proposal that, if enacted, would decrease the discretionary funding request by US$1.6bn.

The TSA portion of the budget includes US$1.5bn to ensure TSA employees do not suffer a pay differential. Since implementing pay parity in July 2023, TSA has already seen an 11% reduction in attrition, and is making gains in retaining what has historically been a workforce with high turnover.

The report covers CAG’s activities across its four passenger terminal buildings, its air freight center and the aircraft operating areas. In the report, CAG committed to cutting carbon emissions while improving resource efficiency. Moving forward, the company plans to cap absolute carbon emissions at 2018 levels until 2030, even with the growing number of passengers that Singapore’s Changi Airport is expected to serve in the years ahead.

MAG has disclosed that the order book for the bond was four times oversubscribed, totaling around £1.4bn (approximately US$1.8bn). The Group plans to use the proceeds of the bond to fund the transformational capital investment programs that the group is undertaking at its airports, as well as for general corporate purposes.

One project to benefit will be the Manchester Airport Transformation Programme (MAN-TP), which is currently well underway after starting in 2017.
