As a Senior Consultant (f/m/d) you can profitably contribute your expertise for market developments and your analytical, communicative skills for the industry team. At the same time, you will be a stakeholder of existing and new partners/customers as well as external cooperation partners in the exciting industry cluster: aviation and aerospace.

This position is available at our offices in Stuttgart or Hamburg. Please specify your preferred location in your application.

Your tasks

  • Responsibility for strategic market penetration and networking with new and existing customers in the industry with all cluster-related business units
  • Development of courses of action and creation of business cases for new customer acquisition as well as for existing customer management
  • Positioning of Drees & Sommer Group consulting products and services with existing and new clients and expanding account management for selected strategic clients
  • Network development for associations and clients and management of data in corresponding CRM systems
  • Design and organization of trade fairs and event formats, support in the implementation of social media activities, and establishment of new formats for addressing and retaining customers
  • Direct cooperation with the “Head of Aviation & Aerospace” as well as the other cluster managers in the regions and European locations

Your profile

  • Completed a degree in transport economics, aerospace engineering, or a comparable degree in the fields of mobility, business, or technology
  • At least five years of experience in sales, sales or business development, strategy development and consulting, or in similar fields of activity, preferably in the aviation and aerospace sector
  • Proven track record in establishing and pursuing sustainable business opportunities and building sustainable personal contacts
  • Fluent communication in English and German comes easy to you
  • Willingness to relocate to Stuttgart would be a plus
  • Readiness to travel within Europe (30%)
  • Strategic mindset and a sense of markets, trends, and customers
  • Proactive and high persuasiveness are part of your skills
