Job Purpose
Firstco, are a UK based systems engineering company, specialising in mission-critical control and communication systems within transportation environments.
We’re currently recruiting for a range of Systems Automation Engineers (PLC/SCADA.)

Example Duties and Responsibilities
Applications are open to engineers with at least 2 years of PLC/SCADA experience.
We’re ideally looking for candidates who have experience in some (but not necessarily in all) of the following areas:
• Design of new engineering systems
• On-site implementation of systems
• Configuration of PLC/SCADA systems, ideally Siemens WinCC OA or Rockwell products
• Producing high-quality project documentation
• Applying upgrades to existing systems
Many of our final system updates take place during night and weekend working, and all candidates must be willing and able to do this if and when required.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM subject or related field – Applicable experience may be substituted for the degree requirement
Candidates must be UK residents and be eligible to meet strict security vetting procedures which include employment or education references for the last 5-years.
Main place of work: West London / Heathrow Airport with the possibility of home working.
