Concessionaire LS travel retail North America has opened its first food and beverage outlet at Vancouver International Airport in Canada.

The Java U coffee shop is located in Terminal B and serves a wide range of beverages as well as breakfast items, sandwiches, wraps, paninis and salads. It is the third Java U store opened by LS travel retail following a further two openings at Montreal Trudeau International Airport in Quebec, Canada. The Java U brand currently operates at 20 different locations in Canada.

Vadim Motlik, chief development officer at LS travel retail North America, said, “We are thrilled to be opening our third Java U location, and to be offering its delicious menu to the West Coast travelers.

“We would like to thank Java U for a strong, continued partnership, as well as the Vancouver Airport team for giving us the opportunity to open our first food location in their world-class, award-winning airport.”

Michael Geminari, CEO and general manager, Java U Food Services, said, “Java U Cafes and Food Services are honored to be part of this successful partnership and growth in the food and beverage category. Working with LS and its team of professionals has been a great experience as well as a rewarding one. We are very excited in continuing this positive momentum with them.”
