					<description><![CDATA[<a href="https://www.passengerterminaltoday.com/images/changi-gives-t2-expansion-start-date.html"><img width="700" height="335" src="https://www.passengerterminaltoday.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/2-Departure-Immigration.png" alt="Changi gives T2 expansion start date" align="left" style="margin: 0 20px 20px 0;max-width:400px;max-width:100%" /></a><p>Changi Airport Group (CAG) in Singapore has announced that expansion and renovation works at Terminal 2 (T2) will commence in late January 2020, after the Chinese New Year holiday.</p>
<p>The work marks the beginning of a multi-year expansion project which will increase T2’s handling capacity, as well as replacing facilities and amenities which are nearing the end of their shelf lives, according to the airport.</p>
<p>The expansion project will add 15,500m2 (166,840ft2) to the terminal building and increase Changi Airport’s capacity by 5,000,000 passengers per annum (mppa).</p>

<p class="p1">At 3,466ft² (322m²), the new outlet, located inside the main terminal, is the largest retail space at the airport, selling primarily merchandise from Summerfest, the self-styled “world’s largest musical festival” and a focal point of summer in Milwaukee</p>
<p class="p1">The new store features Summerfest t-shirts, drinkware, hats, a one-of-a-kind Summerfest branded guitar, a Harley-Davidson motorcycle display, and unique merchandise from more than 30 other local vendors.</p>

<p class="p1">The new state-of-the-art air travel hub will be the largest single infrastructure project in Kansas City’s history. Designed, planned and engineered by SOM and a team of local and national consultants in collaboration with design-builder Clark | Weitz | Clarkson, the project will transform the existing airport, adding a 1,000,000ft2 (92,900m2) new, single terminal designed to embody the city’s identity as a growing center of technology and innovation.</p>

<p class="p1">The new exhibition, which will run until October, highlights supernatural hot-spots throughout the state. From cemeteries to hotels to abandoned mines, it features historical and current artefacts, intriguing objects, photographs and information that its curators expect to edify, scare and excite visitors.</p>
<p class="p1">Haunted Colorado can be seen in Ansbacher Hall, in the Jeppesen Terminal, on Level 6 North.</p>

<p class="p1">The company is investing Peso 734bn (US$14bn) to build a new, world-class international gateway to the Philippines. It will have four runways, with enough space to expand to six, and will be capable of handling up to 100 million passengers a year. The new airport will be part of a larger infrastructure ecosystem, connecting with existing expressways and mass rail transits that will link it to both southern and northern Luzon.</p>

<p>The opening of the Salam Terminal-Gallery means that domestic flights can take off from Imam Khomeini Airport for the first time. Built by Iranian engineers at a cost of Rials 7trn (US$166.2m), the facility covers 40ha and is expected to act as a model for other new terminals.</p>
<p>Located 30km (19 miles) from the capital, Tehran, IKAC ranks third in terms of passenger traffic in Iran, after Tehran Mehrabad Airport and Mashhad Airport.</p>

<p>The first stage of Pier E has eight gates, a new passport control, spacious and bright passenger areas and a new office building, which will house police officers, technical staff and equipment. In 2020, a further 8,000m² (86,111ft²) space will open, with three new flexible bus gates and two new contact gates for long-haul flights.</p>
