<p dir="ltr">To use the bag drop, Southwest passengers aged 18 or over flying out of DEN must be current TSA PreCheck travelers, have valid passport information uploaded to their Southwest profile and have opted in to the program and provided all relevant information in the Southwest app.</p>
<p dir="ltr">To enter the dedicated TSA PreCheck Touchless ID Bag Drop area, the TSA PreCheck Touchless ID indicator must appear on a passenger’s mobile boarding pass.</p>

<p>The system will be installed in a new Central Building located between Halls A and B, which will  support the airport’s long-term development and improve operational efficiency. The project forms part of the airport’s strategy to modernize infrastructure and accommodate future traffic growth while meeting evolving regulatory requirements.</p>
<p>Bordeaux Airport handled 5.9 million passengers in 2025, serving 92 destinations across 30 countries with 26 airlines.</p>

<p>Sunshine Coast Airport CEO Chris Mills said the project is a key investment in future growth.</p>

Once cleared, baggage is transferred directly to its destination, eliminating the traditional reclaim-and-recheck process at the first US arrival airport.</p>

The vehicles are equipped with more than 10 sensors and cameras, enabling them to navigate the airside environment in all weather conditions, including at night and in the rain.</p>

<p>The new central screening level – spanning 1,250m² – is set to open by Christmas, and will feature 10 new security lanes equipped with Rapiscan CT screening technology, also known as Standard 3.</p>
<p>The new technology is said to deliver a more secure screening process, allowing passengers to keep laptops, secured drink bottles and aerosols inside bags for a smoother passenger experience.</p>

<p>The number of handling companies is being reduced to offer &#8220;opportunities for smarter and more efficient organisation&#8221;. Ground handling companies will make joint use of handling equipment, creating additional space on the apron and a more sustainable use of resources.</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400">The new agreement combines Leidos’s Examiner 3DX CT with Quadridox’s Delphi XRDI technology to provide airports with deeper insights into potential threats and better position them to keep pace with evolving regulatory requirements.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400">“Separately, these technologies provide high levels of threat detection,” said Nik Karnik, vice president and global security products division manager within Leidos’s commercial and international sector.</p>
