UK-based architectural practice The Design Solution has been appointed by Greater Toronto Airport Authority (GTAA) to carry out the commercial planning across terminals 1 (T1) and 2 (T2) as well as the environmental design of Terminal 3 (T3) at Toronto Pearson International Airport, Canada.
The airport has embarked on one of the largest development projects in its history with commercial developments reaching across multiple areas of the airport. As well as this new commission, The Design Solution is also currently working on the commercial planning throughout the new Pier G as well as the landside area of T1.

Traffic at Toronto Pearson reached a new record high of close to 50 million in 2018 and GTAA’s comprehensive commitment to the passenger experience has been recognized by the recent award of ‘Best Large Airport in North America’ in the 2018 ACI Airport Service Quality awards.
