SeeTrue’s artificial intelligence platform has been deployed at Punta Cana Airport in the Dominican Republic to target the illegal movement of drugs and undeclared currency.
The technology is part of the integrated checkpoint security solution at the airport, recently deployed with Leidos, which includes the ClearScan checkpoint CT baggage scanner running the new AI-based threat-detection algorithms. SeeTrue’s AI software layers provide automated, real-time analysis on top of the CT imaging, enabling screening personnel to identify concealed drugs and undeclared currency within passenger baggage at operational checkpoint speeds.
This deployment is the first use at an international airport of SeeTrue’s AI-driven algorithms for the detection of drugs and undeclared currency with the ClearScan technology.
