Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL), the operator of Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru, India, has transformed the passenger terminal into an interactive playground, where children and adults can entertain themselves ahead of their flight.

The latest ‘Then & Now’ event will run until May 15, 2016, and will combine the latest Xbox and PSP videogames, with life-sized games of yesteryear, including Hopscotch and Snakes & Ladders. The Playport initiative will also see the introduction of magic shows, balloon sculpturing, tattoo artists and an up-cycled goods workshop.

Hari Marar, president, airport operations, BIAL, said, “As an airport, we have constantly endeavored to give our passengers and visitors an unparalleled travel experience. We encourage everyone to come and spend time here and make our airport a destination they can visit during the summer holidays. Through these activities, we plan to engage with our visitors and make the experience a memorable one.”
