Malaysia Airports Holdings secures contract at New Doha International

Malaysia Airports Consultancy Services, a subsidiary of Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB), has secured a facilities management contract worth RM23.6m (US$6.6m) at New Doha International Airport in Qatar, according to a report from news site The Malaysian Insider.

The contract will come into effect by May 1, 2015, and will include the provision of facility management services for the project office, mock-up warehouse and associated facilities at the airport’s Steering Committee project office in Doha. The project will last for three years and will also include the maintenance of civil engineering facilities, structures and roadways at the airport.

A statement from Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB) said, “The project signifies MAHB’s determination to continue pursuing opportunities in airport development, operation, management, and project consultancy overseas.”
