Miniature golf course opened at Denver International

Denver International Airport in Colorado has kicked off a series of activities and events to entertain passengers over the summer months by opening a nine-hole miniature golf course in the open-air plaza of its Jeppesen Terminal.

The course will be open from 9:00am to 6:00pm, June 16-26, and will be free-to-use by passengers who exchange a form of ID for putters and golf ball at the airport’s clubhouse.

The ‘Events at DEN’ program will see a number of public events taking place on the 82,000ft2 plaza, which connects the Jeppesen Terminal with the Westin Denver International Airport hotel.

Future events will include an open-air viewing of the movie Top Gun on June 30, a day of music celebrating Colorado’s heritage on July 21, an open-air viewing of the movie E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial on August 18, a bicycle event on August 20, and an event to celebrate the arrival of the Festival International des Sports on September 1, featuring the world’s top amateur and professional athletes in freestyle BMX, flatland BMX and skateboarding.
