Nursing station for traveling mothers opened at Austin-Bergstrom International

Mamava, a designer of nursing solutions for mothers on the go, has opened a suite-style nursing station in the Barbara Jordan Terminal at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport in Texas, USA.

The station is intended to provide traveling mothers with privacy and a pleasant place for pumping and breastfeeding, and includes two bench seats, a small fold-down table, electrical and USB outlets, a mirror, and a door that can be closed for privacy. The 32ft station is large enough to comfortably fit a breast pump, carry-on luggage or stroller, and another parent or siblings.

The lactation suite is free and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Complimentary wipes and diapers will be available in the suite from May 9-13, 2016, or while supplies last.
