Rockwell Collins renews contract for Colombian airports

Airport operator Airplan has signed a contract to expand and renew Rockwell Collins’s common-use passenger processing solutions at six Columbian airports, including José María Córdova International, Olaya Herrera, Los Garzones, Antonio Roldán Betancourt, El Caraño and Las Brujas.

The new agreement includes a full refresh of airport equipment to the latest standards, including a state-of-the-art virtualized core design for the company’s ARINC vMUSE common-use check-in desks and ARINC SelfServ common-use kiosks. Rockwell’s operational solutions will also be added to José María Córdova Airport.

Sara Ramirez, CEO at Airplan, said, “We have been working with Rockwell for some time now, and our renewal demonstrates our satisfaction with the solutions it’s providing, This new contract will allow us to provide better services for airlines and passengers. Rockwell Collins’s airport solutions will continue to modernize aviation transportation and infrastructure in the region.”
