Global engineering firm Aecom announced today (July 11) that it has been awarded a five-year contract to provide program management and construction management services for Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) in Texas.

The US$100m contract covers a variety of potential projects, including both federally and non-federally funded airfield improvements, building projects and landside improvements. The scope of services includes program, project, design and construction management; contract administration; program and project controls; public outreach; and technical, third-party support. It is expected that Aecom will subcontract 40% of the project’s value to qualified disadvantaged business enterprises (DBE).

Michael S Burke, chairman and CEO, Aecom, said, “We are very proud of our long history of working with DFW Airport and being a part of its most important and iconic programs. The confidence shown by DFW in selecting Aecom as its program management and construction management partner for the next five years reflects the collaborative relationship we’ve worked hard to build together.”
