The new food hall was masterplanned by London-based interior design specialists Studio Duncalf, which created the overall design theme and customer flow for the area as well as creating interior design guidelines for F&B tenants occupying the space and fascias for neighboring retail units.

Studio Duncalf also designed the Gorm’s pizza restaurant, one of the six restaurants in the new food hall. Studio Duncalf has a long association with Copenhagen Airport, having designed five restaurant/bars currently operating in different parts of the airport.

Commenting on the award, Roger Odili of Studio Duncalf said, “This award reflects a combination of bold design, customer convenience and Copenhagen Airport’s well-known commitment to showcasing high quality local F&B brands. Our greatest satisfaction is knowing that what we have designed has worked commercially and aesthetically. Recognition from the aviation industry is the icing on the cake.”
