Denver International Airport (DIA) in Colorado has opened three new food outlets in its recently renovated C Concourse to provide passengers with more options on the move. The new outlets include Happy Cakes Café, Say Si Bon! Marketplace and Auntie Anne’s Pretzels.
Neil Maxfield, senior vice president of concessions for DIA, said, “We are continuing to work hard to open new food and retail options for travelers on the new C Concourse expansion area. We are excited to welcome local Colorado companies like Happy Cakes Café featuring Allegro Coffee, and national brands like Say Si Bon! Marketplace and Auntie Anne’s, to appeal to the ‘grab and go’ market with snack foods, pastries and a variety of beverages.”
“After passengers grab their food to go, they have a new seating area to enjoy their treats. With pops of color and various shapes, the seating area in between gates C26 and C27 has been designed to create interest and provide an engaging passenger experience.”
Say Si Bon! Marketplace, a take on the French phrase ‘It’s so good’, is designed to be reminiscent of a European market and offers a selection of travel essentials such as newspapers, magazines, souvenirs, branded apparel and electronic and travel accessories. Passengers can also buy prepackaged sandwiches, salads, and pastries that are made daily on-site.
