HMSHost unveils restaurant concepts for Baltimore/Washington and Piedmont Triad international airports

Restaurant operator HMSHost, a subsidiary of Autogrill, has strengthened its operations in North America, after being awarded two new contracts at Baltimore/Washington and Piedmont Triad international airports.

Under these agreements, HMSHost expects to generate total revenues of US$180m in the 10-year duration of the two concessions, with more than US$130m generated at Baltimore/Washington and approximately US$50m at Piedmont Triad in Greensboro, North Carolina.

The contracts include a total of 13 points of sale, including four new outlets in Baltimore and six new additions in Piedmont Triad. At Baltimore, this will include restaurants Family Meal and Kapnos Marketa, as well as the Brix & Vine wine bar and four Starbucks coffee houses. HMSHost will operate six points of sale at Piedmont Triad International Airport including the PGA TOUR Grill concept, The Local @ GSO, The Great American Bagel, ACC American Café, and two Starbucks coffee houses.
