LS travel retail Pacific has opened two new food and beverage offerings at Cairns Airport in Queensland, Australia.

Eagle Boys Express is a well established chain restaurant offering travelers a selection of hot meals on the go including pizza, chicken wings, potato skins, rolls, wedges, garlic bread and breakfast dishes. The Bar concept is located next to Eagle Boys Express and shares a common seating area allowing passengers to combine local and imported beer, wine and spirits, with a snack from the adjacent restaurant.

Matt Mercier, CEO for LS travel retail Pacific, said, “We are delighted to be implementing these new concepts at Cairns Airport, and creating new partnerships. They are an important part of our long-term strategy to expand our presence in Foodservice within the region, and add to our longstanding partnership with Cairns Airport. It’s particularly exciting to be partnering with Eagle Boys Express, who are well known within our region, catering for a large number of the passenger profiles within Cairns Airport.”

Robin Heslehurst, brand manager for Eagle Boys Express, said, “Eagle Boys Pizza is excited to partner with LS travel retail Pacific with our brand new Eagle Boys Express store in Cairns Airport. We know that Cairns Airport customers are going to love the new range of products being offered. For almost nine years, Eagle Boys Express has proven to be a successful business model for retail outlets, offering delicious, hot, fresh food ‘on the go’ with menu items served across all day parts. Eagle Boys Express benefits from the brand recognition achieved from Eagle Boys’ 27-year history in Australia and we look forward to seeing how the brand can be successful at Cairns Airport, meeting the diverse needs of its traveling customers.”
