Oktoberfest comes to Pittsburgh

Oktoberfest hit Pittsburgh International Airport on Friday, September 6, with live oompah tunes and classic German brews.

Grammy-nominated accordionist Kevin Solecki filled the airside terminal with Oktoberfest oompah tunes, and greeters welcomed visitors with complimentary pretzel bites, courtesy of Penn Brewery and Fraport Pittsburgh. A few lucky passengers also received Fraport gift certificates.

Throughout September 2019, Penn Brewery’s classic German brews will include its Great American Beer Festival medalists Penn Oktoberfest and Penn Gold. Its menu will feature classic dishes such as Bavarian pretzels with German Obatzda dip.
