HMSHost has opened its Pork & Pickle gastropub and BBQ restaurant at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport’s Concourse C, offering customers high-quality barbecue and beers.

Pork & Pickle is one of the few restaurants in an airport that smokes meats on-site to give guests an authentic wood-smoked barbecue experience.

“HMSHost is proud to partner with Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport to bring these great new dining options to ANC travelers,” said Stephen Douglas, HMSHost vice president of business development. “We are so excited to continue building new restaurant offerings, keeping the travelers’ experience at the forefront of our minds.”

“Our goal is to create a variety of venues that encourage repeat visits from both our out of town guests and locals as they enjoy an Alaskan experience,” added John Parrott, Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport Manager.

Pork & Pickle was first launched in Kansas City International Airport and Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport is the second location. A third will soon open in Montréal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport this autumn.
