Restaurateur HMSHost and retail developer Westfield are set to open the Shake Shack burger stand in Terminal 3 (T3) at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) in California.

Shake Shack will open on June 28, and will serve breakfast as well as its modern day “roadside” classics, which use 100% all-natural, antibiotic-free Angus beef burgers and hormone-free chicken.

The breakfast menu will feature Shake Shack’s signature breakfast sandwiches including Sausage, Egg N’ Cheese, Bacon, Egg N’ Cheese and Egg N’ Cheese. All three sandwiches consist of griddled-fresh cage-free eggs, served with American cheese on a toasted potato bun. The sausage breakfast sandwich is topped with all-natural Shack pork sausage and the bacon sandwich is topped with all-natural applewood smoked bacon.

Michael Kark, vice president of global licensing, Shake Shack, said, “We’ve built such a strong community in LA since we opened our first Shack last year at West Hollywood. We’ve always had hopes for an LAX restaurant and are thrilled that it’s becoming a reality. We’re excited to share the Shake Shack experience with even more Angelenos and with travelers from around the world”.

Steve Johnson, president and CEO, HMSHost, said, “HMSHost is thrilled to be bringing Shake Shack to LAX and delivering this beloved burger brand to travelers. We’re also very excited that we’re able to do this alongside LAWA and Westfield, a perfect debut for this exciting new partnership.”
