Hospitality firm Plaza Premium Group opened two new passenger lounges today (July 26) in the departure areas of terminals 1 and 2 at Taoyuan International Airport in Taiwan.

The two luxury facilities have a combined floor space of 27,000ft² and can seat up to 600 passengers between them. Amenities include the brand’s signature honeycomb seating, private showers and resting suites, VIP rooms, meeting rooms, electrical outlets, international TV channels, complimentary wi-fi, and a selection of newspapers and magazines. The new lounges also offer freshly made international cuisine at their live-cooking stations to provide travelers with an interactive dining experience.

The lounges are available to all passengers for a fee, regardless of their airline or class of travel, with prices starting at T$1,300 (US$40) for two hours of use.

Song Hoi-see, founder and CEO of Plaza Premium Group, said, “Plaza Premium Lounge in Taipei is the first project of our group in Taiwan. We have invested a lot in Taipei by introducing the cutting-edge Plaza Premium Lounges to facilitate travelers departing from, transiting through and arriving at Taipei.

“We aim at strengthening the affinity of Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport (Taoyuan Airport) to travelers and making it a preferred transit hub in East Asia.”
