The Government of Jamaica, through the Ministry of Transport, Works and Housing (MTWH), is seeking to shortlist private sector operators with proven experience in the aviation sector to operate, finance, develop and maintain Norman Manley International Airport in Jamaica under a long-term concession agreement.

An invitation for prequalification had previously been published on December 1, 2014, with the objective of short-listing interested investors. However, this was terminated by the Government of Jamaica to effect an administrative modification to the prequalification document.

The invitation for prequalification has now been re-launched and will form part of the international competitive bidding process, which is scheduled to be launched at a later date. The prequalification applications should be submitted by 3:00pm EST on April 17, 2015.

Companies wishing to submit an application for the project should request the prequalification document by clicking here.
