Brisbane seeks RFP

Brisbane Airport Corporation is inviting fashion, accessories, gifts or retail service operators to respond to a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the opportunity to operate in its Domestic Terminal.

The RFP is for a single specialty fashion, gifts or accessories concession in the second stage of Brisbane’s Domestic Terminal redevelopment.

The airport completed stage one in 2016 with a A$15m (US$10.15m) upgrade of the southern terminal (predominantly accommodating Virgin Australia services) and commenced the A$40m (US$27m) stage two, to upgrade the northern and central terminals, in mid-2018.

As part of this second stage, BAC is now seeking a retailer with a high-quality offering to operate from a 91m2 (980ft2) space on Level 2 in the northern terminal departures area, which predominantly accommodates Qantas services.

The airport’s vision is to create a liveable airport environment that provides a retail, commercial and recreational experience that is uniquely Brisbane.

The RFP will close at 4:00pm Australian Eastern Standard Time on Tuesday November 19, 2019.
