American designer leather goods brand Coach has become the latest to open a boutique at Sydney Airport T1 International’s new fashion precinct, which is located after customs. Sydney is now the only airport in Australia to feature a Coach store, offering its signature collections, men’s and women’s bags, footwear, accessories and fragrances.

The 130m² interior is modern and vibrant, featuring custom-designed cabinetry, warm lighting and rich textiles, resulting in a sophisticated environment. The eye-catching exterior, meanwhile, has a double-height, illuminated façade, framed with glass blocks and expansive windows.

T1’s fashion precinct is a recent addition to Sydney Airport as part of an ongoing improvement program. The 1,900m² carries other high-end brands, including TUMI, Michael Kors, Kate Spade New York, Hugo Boss, Emporio Armani, Tiffany & Co, Burberry, Max Morton and Oroton, with Gucci launching soon. The precinct sits near a new premium dining area, City View, and a revised duty-free offering.

Glyn Williams, general manager of retail at Sydney Airport, said, “The enviable mix of designer brands within the T1 fashion precinct offers passengers a sophisticated shopping experience with a range of offers across different price points. We’re thrilled to welcome Coach to T1 – a brand that sits comfortably within the revitalized offering.”
