Dubai Duty Free (DDF), the operator of duty-free stores at Dubai and Al Maktoum international airports, has achieved ‘Superbrands’ status for the 10th time in its history.

The Superbrands Council in the UAE, an offshoot of the UK-based Superbrands organization, presented the award during a Tribute Event held at the Inter-Continental Dubai Festival City hotel. As well as its 10 Superbrand awards, DDF is the only company to win the company’s coveted ‘Brand of the Year’ award for two consecutive years, in 2010 and 2011.

Colm McLoughlin, executive vice chairman, DDF, said, “We are delighted to receive our 12th Superbrands award, which is a remarkable achievement and I thank the council members and associates for voting for Dubai Duty Free. This award is essentially a well-deserved endorsement of our brand and organization and reflects our efforts over the past 32 years.”
