Firearms manufacturer Kalashnikov Group has opened its first branded store selling non-licensed products in the Aeroexpress Terminal in Sheremetyevo International Airport in Moscow, Russia.

The 600ft² store is decorated in Kalashnikov red and black corporate colors and has been divided into several zones in accordance with the company’s products, which include branded souvenirs, bags, clothing, and most significantly, a selection of built-to-scale replica weapons.

Vladimir Dmitriev, marketing manager, Kalashnikov Group, said, “Kalashnikov is one of the most popular brands that springs to mind when people all around the world come to think about Russia. That is why we are happy to give everyone who visits an opportunity to take home a souvenir with the Kalashnikov logo.

“Opening a branded shop in the airport that retains a leading position in terms of passenger traffic in our country is a totally reasonable step toward consumer adoption and building customer loyalty. We hope that people enjoy our initiative and buy our company souvenirs as a memory of their trip.”
