Luxury Italian fashion house and global designer brand Max Mara has opened its first Australian airport branch at Sydney Airport’s T1 International.

The new 20,450ft² store displays marble floors with wood and platinum finishes, creating an elegant shopping atmosphere for international passengers.

A range of premium products from the Max Mara and ‘S Max Mara collections will be available, while a large area of the store will be devoted to accessories and travel essentials such as wallets, jewelry, scarves and eyewear. A large, interactive LED wall brings the contemporary space to life against the striking double-height façade.

“We’re excited to welcome Max Mara to the T1 luxury precinct. The brand is perfectly positioned within our designer mix, elevating the shopping experience for international passengers departing Sydney Airport,” said Glyn Williams, Sydney Airport general manager, retail.
