Qatar Duty Free has opened a new Moncler boutique at Hamad International Airport, offering the luxury French-Italian brand’s clothing for men and women. This is the first permanent airport store for Moncler in the Middle East, located in the main Duty Free Plaza South, replacing a previous pop-up outlet which opened last year.

The interior of the store features French Chêne Fumeé wood paneling, grey marbled ceilings and walls with white Calcatta marble display cases. Its opening comes as Qatar Duty Free’s retail mix was awarded a prestigious five-star rating by Skytrax – one of only six airports in the world to receive the title and the only one in the Middle East to do so. The airport was also named fifth best for shopping and best in the Middle East for the second year running at the Skytrax world airline awards.

Luis Gasset, senior vice president, Qatar Duty Free, said, “I am delighted to extend our partnership with leading luxury and lifestyle brand Moncler, to open a dedicated brand boutique inside our award-winning, five-star airport. Moncler is known for its commitment to providing exceptional style and quality, and it is this commitment to excellence that complements the Moncler and Qatar Duty Free partnership.”
