Qatar Duty Free opens second Harrods store at Hamad Airport

Travel retail operator Qatar Duty Free (QDF) has opened its second Harrods signature store at Hamad International Airport in Doha.

The second boutique features a range of carefully selected items, including Harrods bags, wallets, accessories and food. 

Thabet Musleh, head of Qatar Duty Free, said, “We are very excited to launch our second Harrods store at Hamad Airport. Harrods is one of the world’s most iconic luxury retailers, and our first store has been hugely popular among passengers. This is why we decided to open an even bigger branch, to give travelers more choice and an enhanced product range of luxury items.”

Michael Ward, managing director of Harrods, said, “Harrods is delighted to be expanding its offering at Hamad International, one of the most impressive airports in the world. We look forward to showcasing our much-loved Harrods products to the millions of passengers that are set to pass through this year.”

Qatar Duty Free boasts more than 90 luxury boutiques and high-end stores, as well as over 30 restaurants and cafés, covering an area of 40,000m2 (430,550ft2) at the airport. Luxury brands represented include Bulgari, Hermès, Giorgio Armani, Hugo Boss, Mont Blanc, Rolex and Chanel.
