Concessionaire Travel Retail Norway (TRN) has opened a new duty-free shop in arrivals at Oslo Airport in Norway. The new shopping area boasts twice as much space as the old duty-free store, with 700 new products including a number of Norwegian brands.

The new store has been built in conjunction with the expansion of Oslo Airport and now covers a total area of 43,000ft2. Travelers now have access to a wide range of local and organic products, as well as an extended wine selection with more than 200 new brands. The women’s cosmetics section has also been improved, and 15 new checkouts have been added to reduce wait times.

Håkon Fjeld-Hansen, CEO of TRN, said, “This will be a unique shopping experience in brighter, nicer and airier surroundings. The size also means that we can expand the range of products considerably, with 700 new additions in all the typical tax-free categories.

“This will be duty free as you’ve never experienced before in Europe. Now we have a wide selection of goods, and staff with expertise in their particular fields.”
