WHSmith to open six outlets at Sydney Airport

Sydney Airport has announced that WHSmith will operate six new travel essential stores in its newly renovated Terminal 1 (T1) departures area. The T1 improvement works started in January 2015 and will be staged over the next 18 months. The first WHSmith store is due to open in August 2015.

Glyn Williams, general manager, retail, at Sydney Airport, said, “This is a real evolution from the traditional books and news operations and introduces a reinvigorated range of must-have travel product essentials that make every journey easier in a convenient one-stop shop.

“WHSmith is one of the world’s largest and most successful retail operators of travel essentials and we are looking forward to a successful partnership across the six locations in T1.”
