Global Entry move for San Diego

LinkedIn +

California’s San Diego International Airport is now offering Global Entry enrolment upon arrival from international travel.

The move follows the US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announcement that due to its consolidation of the Trusted Traveler Offices in San Diego County, the airport enrolment center is closing today, September 30, 2019.
Now, travelers who have been conditionally approved for Global Entry may request to be enrolled upon arrival into San Diego when traveling from outside the USA. Conditionally approved travelers also have the option of scheduling their enrolment at the Otay Mesa enrolment center, in the south of the city.

According to CBP, the Trusted Traveler Program (TTP) SENTRI and Global Entry enrolment centers in San Diego County will be consolidated into one, at the existing enrolment center at the Otay Mesa port of entry, in an effort to provide the TTP community with a more effective service.
