Grantley Adams International Airport in Barbados has entered into a first-of-its-kind partnership with Clear Channel Airports (CCA),the Americas-based airports business of Clear Channel Outdoor Holdings.
The five-year arrangement makes CCA the exclusive advertising provider to the airport, responsible for designing and launching a contemporary media program.
CCA will integrate an array of digital and printed screens throughout the terminal. A mixture of high-tech media, sponsored mobile charging stations and large-format displays will maximize revenue for both the airport and advertisers.
Media program displays planned for the airport include: a 4mm LED video wall; illuminated and non-illuminated tension fabric displays; specialty displays; FreeCharge station; glass wraps; and ‘Welcome to Barbados’ theming.
