Hospitality provider Plaza Premium Group has partnered with airline operator China Eastern Airlines Corporation (CEA) to open a co-branded luxury lounge in Terminal 2 (T2) at Shanghai Pudong International Airport in China.

The new ‘No.77 China Eastern Plaza Premium Lounge’ is situated next to Gate 77 in T2 and contains seating for nearly 500 passengers. The lounge covers an area of approximately 19,400ft² and is available to all passengers regardless of their class of travel. The concept has been designed using Plaza Premium’s trademark furnishings and has been decorated in a way that combines world-class hospitality with eastern charm.

Facilities for the No.77 lounge include a bar, leisure area, buffet area, nursing room, relaxation area, honeycomb seating, smoking room, five workstations, three shower rooms and complimentary wi-fi throughout. Guests will also have expansive views of the airport runway system thanks to the lounge’s panoramic windows.

Song Hoi-see, founder and CEO of Plaza Premium Group, said, “This co-branded lounge is the result of the strategic partnership between the Plaza Premium Group and CEA. It allows all travelers using Shanghai Pudong T2 to experience a premium and seamless airport experience thanks to the group’s award-winning services and facilities, and the extensive network of CEA.”
