Airport hospitality provider Plaza Premium Group has announced that it will open two new independent passenger lounges in Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport in Taiwan and Rio de Janeiro–Galeão International Airport in Brazil.

Song Hoi-see, founder and CEO of Plaza Premium Group, said, “We are thrilled to join hands with both Taiwan Taoyuan and Galeão international airports to bring Plaza Premium Lounge to Taipei and Rio de Janeiro in the next few months.

“The dedication of these two airport authorities to providing excellent airport services matches perfectly with our heartfelt desire of delivering outstanding quality to travelers. I am highly confident that Plaza Premium Lounge in Brazil will perfect travelers’ airport experiences during the upcoming Rio 2016 Summer Olympics.”

Hoi-see had previously announced the development of eight other Plaza Premium Lounge locations earlier this year with a new 19,000ft2 No.77 China Eastern Plaza Premium Lounge, launched in partnership with China Eastern Airlines, scheduled to open in Terminal 2 at Shanghai Pudong International Airport in early November 2015.

Speaking at ITB Asia 2015 in Singapore, Hoi-see further highlighted the group’s Allways meet and greet service, Flight Club dining experience, and Aerotel short-stay transit hotel offering. This included the soft opening yesterday (October 22) of the new Aerotel at Singapore Changi Airport, which is the world’s first hotel to have an airside outdoor swimming pool and pool-side bar. Subsequent openings will take place in Abu Dhabi International and London Heathrow airports in 2016.
