SkyTeam opens luxury lounge in T1 at Hong Kong International

Global airline partnership SkyTeam has opened a new exclusive lounge in Terminal 1 (T1) at Hong Kong International Airport. It is the fourth luxury lounge to be opened by SkyTeam and is available to first class, business class and Elite Plus passengers flying on all 12 SkyTeam airlines serving the airport.

The 10,760ft² facility can seat up to 230 passengers and has been designed to offer a range of high-end amenities including a yoga room, noodle bar and a botanical living wall containing 50 different plant species.

Michael Wisbrun, managing director, SkyTeam, said, “Our goal is to invest in shared facilities at airports around the world in order to deliver a consistently high level of service to our members’ customers as well as creating synergies for our members at airports served by multiple SkyTeam airlines. This exclusive lounge will provide a relaxing environment for passengers in which to unwind before catching their next flight.”

The new lounge is open daily between 05:30am and 01:00am and features work stations, numerous charging points, complimentary wi-fi access, shower facilities, a hot and cold buffet, and an extensive bar selection. SkyTeam’s other lounge locations include London Heathrow, Istanbul Ataturk and Sydney International airports.
