A review team has put forward its recommendations for the suggested operators of 50 new food and beverage and retail concessions at Minneapolis-St Paul International Airport (MSP) in Minnesota, USA.
The team analyzed 54 proposals submitted in March 2015 and have now recommended concession operators for each of the 14 different batches. This includes food and beverage; convenience and news; duty free/duty paid; and retail. The new concessions occupy a total area of 72,000ft² in the airport terminal.
Jeff Hamiel, executive director and CEO of the Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC), the airport operator, said, “Minneapolis-St Paul International is well known in the airport industry for its robust mix of food, retail and service amenities. As we modernize our concessions program, we want to build on those strengths and provide even more reasons for travelers to favor the airport over other transportation options.”
Some of the 14 recommendations include Aero Service Group, SSP America MSP, Midfield Concession Enterprises, Hudson Group Retail and World Duty Free Group North America.
