A study by Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport has shown a 33% reduction in security queue times following the implementation of the BlipTrack Analysis Platform and sensors last summer.
The BlipTrack Analysis Platform and sensors collect non-personal data from passenger’s smartphones and tablets to monitor queue and wait times at the airport’s security process area. This information is then displayed on information screens in the terminal and the airport’s website. The airport, in cooperation with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), was the first in the US to utilize the Danish-made technology.
