Astral Out of Home, a division of broadcasting firm Bell Media, has announced that Audi Canada is the first exclusive advertiser of Vancouver International Airport’s Grand Central Wall, a large LED video wall strategically located in the Air Canada domestic terminal.

Jordana Fatsis, vice-president, sales, Astral Out of Home, said, “Astral Out of Home has recently been awarded the Vancouver International Airport advertising contract and is actively deploying a multitude of new digital products for 2016. We are thrilled that the first digital landmark installed will be owned by such a prestigious brand as Audi.”

The 12ft x 21ft HD LED screen is the first of its kind to be deployed in a Canadian airport and has been strategically located in Departures Hall C, where it can reach all domestic Air Canada passengers.

Christian Schueller, director of marketing and digital innovation, Audi Canada, said, “We are happy to leverage the advertising potential of Astral Out of Home’s digital landmark in such a prime location at Vancouver International Airport. We look forward to leveraging the creative ownership of the Grand Central Wall and the endless ways we can reach Air Canada travelers at the airport.”

Benjamin Mathieu, general manager, airports, Astral Out of Home, said, “This installation is the first of several new digital landmarks that will be deployed at the airport in the coming months. We are introducing additional digital networks at departures and arrivals, offering clients a large range of advertising solutions to adapt long term and short term buys.”
