Airport operator Fraport has launched a new gaming zone at Frankfurt Airport in Germany as part of its ‘Great to have you here!’ initiative.

Passengers can now try out the latest arcade games free of charge, including car racing, soccer, fun for kids, dancing and fitness games. Based on Microsoft’s Xbox One console, the Gaming World zone features both interactive games projected on monitor walls and computer-assisted games on kiosks. Fraport has included a game for every age group, ranging from classic Tetris to dancing games. Gaming World is currently located on Level 3 of Pier A in Terminal 1.

Fraport’s ‘Great to have you here!’ program is aimed at improving the passenger experience for all guests at the airport and has led to the development of the airport’s latest app and assisted in providing free 24-hour wi-fi throughout its terminals.
