Terminal 2 at Germany’s Munich Airport has reopened following an incident earlier this morning.

In its latest statement, the airport said, “After a blockade of terminal areas by the Federal Police at Munich Airport, check-in can be resumed in all areas. According to information provided by the Federal Police, one person passed through an emergency exit door from the Unclean area to the Clean area of Terminal 2. As a result, check-in in Terminal 2 and in areas B and C of Terminal 1 had to be temporarily suspended because the Federal Police searched the affected areas. More than 50 flights have had to be cancelled so far.”
