Online airport management system deployed at Wellington Airport

Wellington International Airport, New Zealand, has adopted a newly upgraded online airport management system from software developer Veovo, providing the airport and its stakeholders with real-time, predictive views of all operational activities.

By connecting, combining and analyzing data from many IT systems, such as air traffic control software, gate management tools and weather feeds, the platform delivers meaningful and in-depth insights to airport staff via a web-based portal.

Leanne Gibson, general manager, facilities and IT, Wellington Airport, said, “Our operational management system is an important part of ensuring that our staff can get their jobs done at maximum efficiency. The new platform gives us instant clarity of what’s happening across the airport. It allows us to make fast, proactive decisions, particularly around events like changes in flight schedules.”
