Pulse.Aero, a provider of passenger processing solutions and subsidiary of Phase 5 Technology, has announced that it will be showcasing its new contactless self-service bag drop solutions at Passenger Terminal Expo 2016, taking place in Cologne, Germany, from March 15-17.

The new contactless technology featured on the Sonic Bag Drop unit can be applied to one step, two step or all step operations, and allows the passenger to deposit a tagged bag, without the need for touching the screen or picking up a hand scanner.

Sonic Contactless uses state-of-the-art software and barcode reading technology to offer a streamlined passenger experience in both retro-fit and re-fit environments.
